For the past decade, the BMOCA+ Swoon International Artist Residency has welcomed artists from around the world—each bringing fresh perspectives, creativity, and inspiration. Now, we are honored to expand this legacy by creating a new residency dedicated to Native artists, designed with guidance from Native mentors, allies, and community members. This program will offer space for reflection, creation, and cultural exchange rooted in respect and reciprocity.
Launching in March 2026, our first artist is Jordan Ann Craig, a Northern Cheyenne painter currently living in Pojoaque Valley, New Mexico.
We hope you’ll join us in helping to lift and amplify Native voices in the arts community—starting right here in Boulder. Our goal is to raise the funds to support the artists' honorarium and programming for the 2026 Artists Residency, and we are seeking long-term donors to support the program each year.
